Job Responsibility:

  • Create designs that meet safety, reliability, and sustainability standards
  • Choose appropriate methods and procedures for design execution
  • Utilize software tools to depict designs clearly for interpretation by others
  • Work closely with Engineers, Designers, and Lead Designer to ensure design intent is understood
  • Proactively plan and complete activities and deliverables within agreed time frames
  • Identify and escalate unresolved issues to minimize delays
  • Apply lessons learned to understand change impacts within project boundaries
  • Collaborate with Package Engineers for timely review of vendor documents
  • Start leading designers on assigned scope of work and may act as Lead Designer

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field
  • Experience of 5 to 10 years in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Expertise in topsides design within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Strong understanding of international codes, company standards, and industry regulations
  • Experience with design software tools for accurate depiction of designs
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills to manage deliverables within project timelines
  • Ability to resolve design conflicts proactively
