Job Description:

BSP Consulting has an immediate vacancy for a Senior Structural Engineer Nottingham. The successful candidate will be employed to work in our Nottingham office, within our experienced structural engineering design team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design of structures using the common construction materials of steel, timber, masonry and reinforced concrete
  • Sound knowledge of geotechnical engineering
  • Assist with the management of less experienced members of the team

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor or Master degree level
  • Strong team work ethic
  • Computer literate, being fully competent in the use of Word and Excel
  • Experienced in the use of AutoCAD for technical drawing

Nice to have:

Use of industry standard software including TEDDS, TEKLA, and CSC Portal Frame Designer
