Senior Structural Engineer

• Manage engineering projects and coordinate resources and activities to achieve short-term time and financial targets
• Produce engineering designs, analysis models, calculations and specifications
• Coordinate input from other disciplines and specialisms as required
• Prepare technical reports in accordance with clients’ briefs
• Supervise and coordinate the production of technical drawings
• Check calculations, specifications, drawings and reports produced by others, in accordance with Operational Procedures
• Provide training and coaching to junior engineers

• Accredited BEng or MEng degree level (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Obtained or on the pathway to attaining Professional Engineer registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia or Chartered Engineer status
• Proven experience of managing medium / large size projects and delivering to time and budgetary deadlines, whilst complying with operational and other procedures
• Broad and deep technical knowledge in Structural Engineering, plus demonstrable understanding of other disciplines
• Familiar with local codes of practice and authority submission and approval procedures
• Competent user of relevant structural engineering software, such as ETABS, TSD etc
• Excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges
