Job Description:

Senior Structural Engineer role involving leading project teams, analysis and design of building systems, development of construction documents, collaboration with other disciplines, and construction administration.

Job Responsibility:

Lead project structural engineering team
provide mentorship and oversight of work given to junior staff
Analysis and design of various building framing and foundation systems in structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry
Development of construction documents, building information model, drawings, and specifications
meeting the scheduled project issue dates
Collaborating and coordinating with other technical disciplines
Construction administration, including shop drawing review and responding to Contractor questions
Assist in performing quality assurance and quality control reviews
Assist in developing proposals

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering
Master’s Degree preferred
10+ years of relevant project experience
Licensed as a Professional Engineer
Revit experience preferred
RISA-3D and RISAFloor experience preferred
Project leadership skills
Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic team setting with overtime as required

Nice to have:

Revit experience
RISA-3D and RISAFloor experience
Master’s Degree
