Job Description:

Take lead, undertake & responsible for Leader as well as Structural Design, design guides, calculation and Structure design solutions for projects. To ensure all designs are undertaken in accordance with local codes and international Design to be performed from Concept design, Basic design to Detailed design for Tender and for Construction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take lead, undertake & responsible for Leader as well as Structural Design, design guides, calculation and Structure design solutions for projects
  • Ensure all designs are undertaken in accordance with local codes and international Design from Concept design to Detailed design
  • Take lead, study & undertake, as well as guide for implementation for analysis, providing a proper and reasonable design solution
  • Take lead, conduct the execution of engineering activities and manage team, assign tasks for team
  • Provide overall direction, support, guide Engineers to perform the works
  • review and check all design documents
  • Take lead, undertake, and guide the Engineers to implement, build and develop the data systems, library, spreadsheets
  • Review, evaluate & validate the selected design solutions, materials
  • Liaise with Leaders, Architects, Engineers of other disciplines
  • Cooperate and collaborate with other Designers, other disciplines
  • Produce Structural design briefs, documents, reports and specifications
  • Follow & ensure of the team member follow Company’s design procedures
  • Responsible and ensure of all the assigned tasks of the team are performed within the assigned timeframe
  • Attend design and/or construction meetings
  • Perform construction site visits and develop site observation reports
  • Review shop drawings and material submissions from contractor/construction manager
  • Liaise with other Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers
  • To perform internal training, experience sharing
  • Compliance under the direction & assignment from Engineering Director
  • Report directly to Engineering Director

Requirements:

  • Structure engineer
  • ~10 years experience
  • Structure Design certificate, Grade I is a plus
  • Strong knowledge in Structure design for Industrial, building apartment, commercial building
  • Strong knowledge in geotechnical, foundation design, basement design and/or steel structure design
  • Revit, Autocad, MS offices, other software skills support for specialized works
  • Etabs, Sap, Safe, Plaxis, CFS
  • Strong communication, presentation, reporting writing
  • English speaking and writing

Nice to have:

  • Having knowledge in other design disciplines is a plus
  • Having knowledge in civil, infrastructure design works is a plus
