Join our Group Strategy team and play a pivotal role in shaping TUI's long-term strategic direction. Working closely with senior leadership and our Group Executive Committee, you'll drive value creation initiatives across our diverse portfolio of businesses, from airlines to hotels and beyond. Due to where our key stakeholders are based, we're ideally looking to recruit in Germany, UK, Spain, Netherlands or Belgium, but we're open to applications from candidates based in any of our other European office locations.
Job Responsibility
Partner with our senior leadership team to develop TUI Group's strategy, working on highly sensitive projects directly sponsored by our Group Executive Committee members
Lead complex cross-functional projects from concept to business case, ensuring smooth handover to relevant business units or group functions
Coordinate discussions and structure partnerships with C-level executives from potential global partners
Review our strategic peer group, track competitor activities, and provide timely insights to senior management through monthly reports
Act as Group Strategy ambassador, support recruitment, onboard new team members, and represent TUI in strategic discussions with external partners
Contribute to our team's knowledge base with high-quality analysis and fresh perspectives to drive continuous improvement across our strategic initiatives
Requirements
Prior experience in either strategy (management consulting, corporate strategy), or banking/investments along with strong analytical problem-solving skills and excellent business modelling skills
Proven experience working independently with significant personal responsibility
'Leadership' and 'value creation' mindset who can translate complex research into effective strategic recommendations
Strong senior stakeholder management skills, particularly proven ability to navigate complex matrix structures and influence decision-making
Flexibility in achieving business objectives while challenging the status quo, combined with ability to make practical trade-offs
Strong commercial awareness, excellent judgement, and a real appetite to contribute to our team's growth and the business's future profitability
