Job Description

This is a Secondment role of 12 months that offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience. Will lead strategy work across Global Health to help shape long-term plans and drive impact. Will work closely with the Global Health Leadership Team, Portfolio and Access colleagues. Job Responsibility

  • Run strategic sprints (special projects) to address priority decisions by running specific analyses, assessing options, and laying out recommendations
  • Lead enterprise and disease area strategy development and support implementation across Global Health
  • Facilitate strategic decision-making with the Global Health Leadership Team and cross-functional partners
  • Conduct horizon scanning and external landscape analysis to identify risks and opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as economics, business, public health, life sciences or related field
  • Experience in strategy, portfolio management, consulting or a related role
  • Experience developing and implementing long-term strategic plans in healthcare, pharma, global health or similar sectors
  • Experience working with senior leaders and facilitating complex, cross-functional decision-making
  • Analytical skills and experience in competitive/market analysis and scenario planning
  • Experience aligning strategy to budgeting, resource allocation or portfolio prioritisation

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree (MBA, PhD or Masters) in strategy, public health, business or related discipline
  • Experience in global health, public health programmes or health systems strengthening
  • Experience using impact measurement and analytics to inform portfolio prioritisation
  • Experience working in a matrixed global organisation and managing stakeholders across regions
