APNC Sweden is an expanding company specializing in providing statistical solutions for life science research. Their clients are primarily medical researchers in academia, and pharmaceutical and medical technology companies. Their main office is located in Mölndal, within the new, ever-growing life science cluster GoCo Health Innovation City. We also have an office at Medicon Village in Lund. But this position is to be filled at GoCo Mölndal. We are looking for an experienced statistician with a strong passion for medical research and the ability to independently lead a team and projects. Personality is key to meeting APNC clients and driving the continued development of the company. As a Senior Statistician, you will provide scientific leadership and methodological expertise, working across the full lifecycle of clinical studies. You will play a key role in ensuring statistical rigor, regulatory compliance, and innovative analytical approaches.
Job Responsibility:
Lead statistical activities in clinical trials and research projects
Design complex studies and apply advanced statistical methods
Develop and review protocols, SAPs, and statistical reports
Oversee and produce statistical analyses and programming (SAS, R, or Python)
Act as a key statistical contact in client and stakeholder meetings
Contribute to regulatory submissions and scientific publications
Mentor and lead colleagues and support internal knowledge development
Drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
University degree in statistics, mathematical statistics, or mathematics (MSc required
PhD is a merit)
Experienced statistician (10+ years) with strong expertise in clinical research
Confident in leading projects and communicating with clients
Documented experience in leading a team
In-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory and industry guidelines
Skilled in advanced statistical methods and programming
Passionate about quality, innovation, and collaboration
Nice to have:
