As an IT Technical Program Manager (TPM), will provide leadership for project teams to launch and to continue support of Information Technology solutions that span hardware, software and services, in a continuous effort to provide world-class customer, partner and employee experiences.
Job Responsibility:
Provide leadership for project teams to launch and to continue support of Information Technology solutions
Drive and measure process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness
Manage multiple competing cross-functional IT projects/programs simultaneously
Take ownership of the overall IT program planning process, program schedule, and initiate process improvements
Develop and manage detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, budgets, resource plans, risk identification and mitigation plans as well as monthly reports and overall KPIs
Gather and analyze requirements, set priorities, define project schedules, manage project resources (both internal and external) and facilitate sprint planning
Interact with electrical, mechanical and software engineers, line of business leaders and IT stakeholders
Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and impediments
Work with engineers and business stakeholders across the organization to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems
Ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards in deployed solutions and track exceptions for follow up
Clarify and drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability
Serve as coach and facilitator for IT teams practicing Agile frameworks (Scrum, Scrumban etc)
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with a focus on Business Process Management and Project/Program Management in a corporate IT environment
Has successfully led the delivery of multiple complex IT solutions into production
Experience with the development of operational metrics
Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
Experience with project management productivity software such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Lucid
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience
Eligible to work in the United States
Nice to have:
Six Sigma or PMI/PMP Certification is a plus
