Senior/Staff/Principal Mobile (React Native) Developer – New York – On-Site – Opportunity to join one of the Fastest-Growing and Well-Known Fin-Tech Start-Ups in NYC. This young and agile company, building a cutting-edge commerce network is currently seeking Mobile React Native Developers of all levels with start-up experience. You will assist with the continuous expansion and optimization of their services in a frontier space. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mobile Engineer with start-up experience to take the next step into a challenging position with a company offering significant growth potential.

Job Responsibility

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Identify opportunities to refactor and make features more robust
  • Coordinate with QA to test new features
  • Be responsible for writing unit and integration tests
  • Work together with the backend team to come up with requirements for an API

Requirements

  • 3+ years of React Native experience
  • 6+ years of React experience
  • Proven experience in React Native, TypeScript/JavaScript, Redux/Global state management frameworks
  • Strong UX design skills, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of how to optimize the delivery of code and assets to a browser or device
  • Ability to articulate the benefits and challenges of depending on front-end libraries, frameworks, and tool-sets
  • Ability to write testable code
