In 2018, Bitvavo launched the first version of its digital assets trading platform, to bridge the gap between traditional currencies and digital assets. Job Responsibility

  • Define the technical direction for all of Bitvavo’s frontend systems
  • Shape how we build, test, and ship products to deliver fast, seamless experiences
  • Partner with product and design to create intuitive, consistent interfaces
  • Lead initiatives that improve performance, accessibility, and developer productivity
  • Ensure our products can handle low-latency data interactions efficiently and reliably, at scale
  • Mentor engineers and strengthen technical leadership across the company
  • Help define how engineering operates as Bitvavo scales

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building large-scale, user-facing products, with deep mobile expertise
  • Strong proficiency in React Native, React and familiarity with iOS and Android native development
  • Proven success leading initiatives that raised the technical and user-experience bar
  • Experience working with low-latency or real-time data systems (for example, market data, trading, or other time-sensitive domains)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with influence beyond your team
  • Pragmatic, outcome-focused approach, balancing speed, quality, and impact
