Senior Staff Geologist

• Perform field evaluations including logging and sampling borings and test pits
• observation and documentation of distressed structures
• site reconnaissance and geologic mapping
• percolation testing
• installation of inclinometers
• geophysical surveys
• assist project managers with accumulation and compilation of geotechnical and geological data
• prepare geologic cross sections
• acquire permits from public agencies
• review and interpret aerial photographs
• coordinate with and schedule subcontractors
• perform geological analysis
• write geotechnical reports

• B.A./B.S. in Geology, Engineering Geology, or related field
• 3+ years field experience
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• positive attitude
• good organizational skills
• strong work ethic
• ability to work both independently and as a team member
