Senior Staff Environmental Professional

• Conducting all phases of environmental site assessment (Phase I and II ESAs) and other hazardous waste site investigations
• Working independently to complete project assignments
• Managing and developing existing client relationships
• Identifying new clients and opportunities
• Preparing or assisting in the preparation of winning proposals
• Site reconnaissance
• Soil and groundwater sampling
• Air monitoring
• Coordination and oversight of subcontractors
• Data compilation
• Review and assimilation of historic information and environmental databases
• Preparation of reports and other project documents
• Phone/email contact/coordination with subcontractors/vendors
• Phone/email contact related to site owners/users

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER training required
• 3+ years of experience performing most or all of the tasks listed
• Solid base writing skills
• Effective inter-communication skills
• Familiarity with ASTM E1527-21
• Ability to work independently and work in teams
• Proficiency with Word and Excel
• Experience in managing projects and budgets
• Experience managing clients and client relationships
• Experience overseeing subcontractors and project staff
• Experience preparing technical proposals and report deliverables

• Other certifications and registrations a plus
• Experience providing these services on a wide variety of sites for clients including public agencies, governments, utilities and private industry (local experience preferred)
• Experience performing or managing industrial hygiene services (asbestos, lead-containing paint, indoor air quality, mold), and regulatory compliance (air quality, spill planning, storm water, permitting, environmental auditing)
• Prior work history with a consulting firm preferred
