Senior Staff Accountant

• Preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts
• Participating in month-end closings and audits
• Assisting in financial analysis and reporting
• Responsible for proper accounting records, ultimately ensuring that reported financial results are GAAP compliant and in line with standard industry practices

• 3+ years of hands-on corporate accounting experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting and/or CPA a plus
• Self-motivated and able to deliver on detailed tasks
• Excellent communication amongst co-workers, management, and external parties
• Attention to detail, deadline oriented, and reliable, with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines
• Expert in Excel and general PC and proficient in Word
• Experience in corporate accounting for a retailer and/or with Great Plains and V360 is a plus
