Senior Staff Accountant

• Oversee recurring close activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to help ensure timely and accurate financial results
• Record and evaluate journal entries and accruals to maintain the integrity of the general ledger
• Prepare account reconciliations, including bank accounts and balance sheet schedules, and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Provide day-to-day support for both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to keep transactions processed efficiently
• Coordinate customer billing and invoicing tasks while helping maintain accurate revenue-related records
• Help ensure accounting practices align with U.S. regulatory and reporting standards
• Contribute to financial reporting deliverables and perform additional analysis to support business needs and decision-making
• Partner with colleagues across departments to gather information, address accounting issues, and support shared objectives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or similar work environment
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, accruals, and period-end close procedures
• Demonstrated experience performing bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entry preparation
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and solid proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience using accounting systems
• NetSuite exposure is preferred but not mandatory
