Job Description:

Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close Perform cost accounting functions, including inventory analysis, standard cost review, and variance analysis Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and reconciliations Handle payroll accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting Prepare account analyses and supporting schedules for financial reporting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal financial reporting Partner with operations and finance leadership to support manufacturing accounting needs Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance reporting efficiency using advanced Excel

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  • Perform cost accounting functions, including inventory analysis, standard cost review, and variance analysis
  • Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and reconciliations
  • Handle payroll accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Prepare account analyses and supporting schedules for financial reporting
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal financial reporting
  • Partner with operations and finance leadership to support manufacturing accounting needs
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance reporting efficiency using advanced Excel

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in general ledger accounting, cost accounting, fixed assets, and payroll accounting
  • Experience with month-end close and financial statement support
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and complex formulas
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Nice to have:

ERP experience within a manufacturing environment is a plus
