Senior Staff Accountant

• Perform month-end close procedures, ensuring compliance with established accounting standards
• Maintain organized and accurate general ledgers to support financial transparency
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, to ensure timely and correct reporting
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts to verify data accuracy
• Compile and analyze financial statements and management reports for internal stakeholders
• Identify trends, variances, or potential issues through detailed financial analysis
• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes to maintain smooth financial operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information effectively
• Utilize accounting software like QuickBooks Online and Excel to execute tasks efficiently
• Support the optimization of accounting workflows and processes to enhance productivity

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online and Excel for accounting tasks
• Demonstrated experience in preparing financial statements and reports
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Public accounting experience highly valued
