Grade 3 Speech Pathologist commencing March 2026. Permanent, part time position working 22.8 hours (0.6 FTE) per week. Continuing Care work stream (providing clinical care and leadership across the Continuing Care stream. Our Grade 3 positions are situated within either Better@Home service, In-patient Aged Care & Rehabilitation Service, Neuro Rehabilitation or Acquired Brain Injury Unit.
Job Responsibility:
Undertaking a swallowing assessment
Providing therapy as part of a goal driven rehabilitation program
mentoring/supervising Grade 2 Speech Pathologist or Allied Health Assistant
Supporting the team to plan and triage work for the day
Leading a quality improvement activity
Requirements:
Eligible for certified practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia
More than 7 years of relevant clinical experience
Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders
Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and ability to translate this into practice
Demonstrated expertise in teaching, training and education
