Job Description:

Senior Specialty Software Engineer in Technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) to work on a cross-asset electronic trading platform. This team currently manages a low-latency, high throughput cross-asset trading platform and order management system.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead or participate in complex initiatives on selected domains
  • Assure quality, security and compliance for supported systems and applications
  • Serve as a technical resource in finding software solutions
  • Review and evaluate user needs and determine requirements
  • Provide technical support, advice, and consultation
  • Create test data and conduct interfaces and unit tests
  • Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
  • Understand and participate to ensure compliance and risk management requirements
  • Conduct research and resolve problems and recommend solutions
  • Assist other individuals in advanced software development
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience
  • 4+ years of experience with capital markets business and processes
  • 4+ years of experience with Architect, design, and develop high performing ALGO/AMM/Pricing/ECN/Exchange and Reference components
  • 4+ years of Experience handling/troubleshooting high speed market data, order routing, RFQ, RFS, Quotations, and Trades
  • 4+ years of Experience working with line of business partners and technology teams
  • 4+ years of Experience working with E-trading business users and product team
  • 4+ years of High-performance programming techniques in C++/Java/Python

Nice to have:

  • Uses advanced knowledge of Fixed Income E-trading flows
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of statistic and mathematical modeling
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of SEC, FINRA and international regulations
  • Strong knowledge of core computer science design concepts, algorithms, and data structures
  • Experience working on low latency high-throughput transactional systems
  • Understand principles of Matching Engine
