Senior Specialized IT Consultant

• Lead the design and development of Hyperion Planning (version 11.x) core components, including Web Forms, Reports, Business Rules, and Task Lists
• Develop and maintain sophisticated, custom-built front-end applications using Excel/VBA and SmartView to enhance the user experience
• Utilize Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to manage complex data movements into and out of Hyperion Planning applications
• Design and tune Essbase multidimensional databases to ensure high performance for large-scale planning data and complex calculations
• Leverage Oracle APEX in conjunction with ODI batch routines to streamline metadata management within the Hyperion environment
• Develop and execute automated Unix scripts for the migration and conversion of data and artifacts between Planning applications
• Act as a technical advisor to clients, providing recommendations on system infrastructure, strategic roadmaps, and I&IT system efficiency
• Support Hyperion applications deployed across the internet to a user base of 1,000+, ensuring stability in a high-volume environment

• 7+ years of solid experience in on-premises Hyperion Planning design and development, specifically with Hyperion Planning version 11
• Senior-level experience acting as a Lead Developer or Solution Designer for enterprise-scale financial systems
• 3+ years of experience coding and sustaining complex applications using Excel macros, VBA, and SmartView integrations with Essbase back-ends
• Demonstrated experience moving data using ODI and managing identity integrations with OAM/OIM
• Familiarity with public sector transfer payment models or funding models within the education sector is highly desirable
• Proficient in Oracle Database, Unix Scripting, and Oracle APEX (as a metadata management tool)
• Exceptional ability to gather requirements directly from business users and translate them into technical specifications for small, agile development teams
