Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Specialist to join our Management Company Accounting group (Hyderabad/Bengaluru). This group is responsible for legal entity book-keeping; financial reporting; federal, local and state tax compliances for our group entity Arcesium LLC which is domiciled in the US.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure accurate and timely client invoicing in accordance with contract terms
  • Manage recurring, milestone-based, and usage-based billing
  • Review billing exceptions, credits, rebills, and adjustments
  • Ensure proper sales and use tax / VAT application, other taxes where applicable
  • Maintain billing master data and customer setup accuracy
  • Prepare and post revenue, deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, and accrual journal entries
  • Perform revenue-related reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Support forecast vs. actual revenue analysis
  • Meet strict close deadlines with high accuracy and minimal revisions
  • Prepare monthly revenue reporting packages for management
  • Analyze trends such as: Bookings vs. Billings vs. Revenue, Deferred revenue changes, Revenue backlog and churn
  • Serve as the primary revenue point of contact for internal and external audits
  • Prepare revenue audit schedules, contract samples, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, ASC 606, and company policies
  • Assist in system audits and revenue control testing
  • Oversee accurate and timely cash application across payment methods (ACH, wire, check)
  • Investigate and resolve unapplied and misapplied payments
  • Prepare and send dunning letters and account statements
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP system
  • Support billing and revenue automation projects
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and SOPs

Requirements

  • US CPA / Chartered Accountant with 5–8 years of experience in Revenue Accounting, Billing, or Financial Accounting
  • Strong hands-on experience with ASC 606 and revenue recognition
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP and revenue accounting standards
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion)
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
