Job Responsibility

Oversee the logistics processes that enable on time delivery at optimal costs
Supporting and resolving escalations with inbound and outbound transportation, warehouse receipt requirements, import/export documentation, freight forwarder coordination, customs clearances and 3rd party logistics and governance
Coordinate and collaborate internally and externally in the facilitation of inbound shipments into the designated region
Identify and aid in the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities
Works independently, likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience
Knowledgeable and current on industry trends and developments, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance transportation operations
Lead lane-level reporting and reviews of transportation operations
Monitor key metrics such as transit time, utilization, and on-time delivery
Work cross-functionally with planning, warehousing, procurement, and customer service to align logistics strategies
Use TMS, BI platforms, and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Alteryx) for performance analysis, visibility and reporting
