Job Responsibility:

  • Design of steel structure and mechanical parts, according to given design guidelines, standardization or customer projects (medium level)
  • Supporting GPHE engineering dept for detailed GA drawing system including frame, supports and equipment, nozzles, Assembly drawings & detailed component drgs, nameplate drawings, Calculation reports & other deliverables
  • Carry out strength Calculations for medium level complexity projects
  • Create Design (GA drawings and details) for medium level complexity projects
  • Fulfil regulations and guidelines connected to the component and product design and market requirements
  • Ensure industry and quality standards are met
  • Plan, execute and follow up on drawings based on contract review / technical specifications
  • Develop and maintain the drawing database and tools
  • Participate in project and improvement work
  • Use calculation and drawing tools/software
  • Develop and maintain good standard solutions (standardization) together with BU
  • Coach and mentor less experienced Design engineers
  • Check the quality of their work and help them resolve problems and issues

Requirements:

  • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 4-6 years of experience
  • Experienced in ASME Section VIII Division 1 code
  • Experience of working on 3D modelling inventor & AutoCAD 2D
  • Knowledge of mechanical transmission, Structural component & packaged equipment
  • Knowledge of API 662 is preferred
  • Hands on experience on usage of PV Elite Software

Nice to have:

Candidate with similar industry & equipment is preferred
