Job Description

The role will be responsible for providing expertise and strategic direction in the areas of end-to-end brand and content marketing, and publicity campaigns of Disney global titles (Walt Disney Studios, Pixar, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures), Disney General Entertainment, and Asia Pacific content released on Disney+. The Senior Specialist for Disney+ Brand and Content Marketing and Publicity will serve as the strategic orchestrator of campaigns that maximize consumer impact, operational excellence, and stakeholder alignment. He/She will work with internal stakeholders to ensure the execution of insight-driven Disney+ campaigns and provide guidance and recommendation for the publicity efforts mixing traditional media and content creators.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide expertise and strategic direction for the timely execution of marketing and publicity campaigns for global titles (Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures), Disney General Entertainment, and Asia Pacific content ensuring consumer resonance and business impact
  • Provide guidance and recommendation in relation to the execution of the full campaign lifecycle of title campaigns, from positioning and messaging to tactical execution, performance monitoring, and post-release evaluation
  • Work with internal stakeholders to drive, manage, and monitor innovative publicity initiatives that integrate traditional media outreach with digital media, influencer and content creator partnerships and active engagement with fan communities to maximize reach and impact
  • Keep track to monitor budget efficiency and resource allocation across multiple titles, ensuring measurable ROI and disciplined financial management
  • Work across Integrated Marketing and cross-functional teams to maximize synergy and impact for Disney+ titles
  • Collaborate day-to-day with agencies, optimizing efficiency, creativity, and measurable impact across campaigns
  • Champion the Disney Difference and Disney’s values, ensuring all campaigns and team practices reflect the highest standards of creativity, integrity, and inclusivity

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, public relations, and the like
  • At least three years solid experience in marketing and publicity
  • Expert in project planning (i.e. marketing cadence, editorial calendar), especially ensuring timely planning, monitoring and execution of campaigns
  • Proven ability to work across a matrixed organization while also able to self-motivate
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive working in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Diplomatic mindset with proven teamwork abilities in matrixed organizations, plus the ability to collaborate with others to solve problems and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Effectively manage multiple demands and priorities for self and others
  • Quickly adapt to new technologies and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
