Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist with expertise in social and paid media to drive strategic digital engagement and audience growth across multiple platforms for a global animal health portfolio. This role combines strategy, storytelling, and execution—requiring an innovative marketer who can build audience trust, create authentic content, and maximize ROI through impactful digital campaigns. The position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Senior Manager, Digital & Campaign Marketing, while also supporting live events, brand storytelling, and campaign activation.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand values and business goals for globally focused animal health brands
Build, engage, and grow audiences across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn through compelling, story-driven content
Conduct audience research and apply psychological insights to craft content that connects authentically with veterinary and customer communities
Maintain and optimize a content calendar that aligns with campaign objectives, key events, and brand initiatives
Monitor conversations, respond to community engagement, and build meaningful relationships with audiences
Plan and manage paid social, search, and display campaigns to maximize reach, visibility, and return on ad spend (ROAS)
Oversee media planning, campaign setup, optimization, and performance analysis
Develop data-driven recommendations for budget allocation and performance improvement
Track and report campaign ROI, engagement trends, and optimization strategies
Capture and produce original photo and video content at live events (including wet labs and other veterinary field events)
Edit and publish high-quality multimedia content that reflects brand authenticity and professionalism
Work collaboratively with Creative Services to bring ideas from concept to execution
Quickly act on real-time trends and opportunities to enhance audience engagement and brand presence
Adapt social media content for other marketing channels such as websites and email campaigns
Use analytics tools to measure and report on the effectiveness of campaigns
Provide actionable insights and performance summaries to guide data-driven improvements
Evaluate both qualitative and quantitative metrics — engagement, reach, growth, and business impact
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
4–6 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, including: Paid and organic social media strategy
Content creation and storytelling
Campaign management, analysis, and reporting
SEM/SEO, display advertising, retargeting, and web analytics
Experience with cross-functional campaign execution and collaboration across teams
Prior work in the animal health, veterinary, or medical industries strongly preferred
Comfort with medical or procedural content (including cadaver-based training materials)
Expertise in paid digital campaign platforms and social media tools (Meta, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and digital reporting suites
Experience in photography, videography, and video/photo editing
Familiarity with HTML/CSS and web publishing best practices (a plus)
Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and engagement strategies
Ability to craft narratives that drive emotional connection and measurable business results
Strategic thinker with strong creative instincts
Confident communicator and collaborator who can influence without formal authority
Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced, evolving environments
Highly analytical, self-driven, and results-oriented
