Senior Sourcing Specialist

• Lead and support end-to-end tendering processes for complex, high-value procurement activities
• Provide strategic sourcing advice
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with operational needs and policies
• Build strong stakeholder relationships with internal, external, and government departments
• Ensure compliance with relevant procurement legislation and guidelines
• Prepare high-quality procurement documentation, including sourcing plans, tender briefs, evaluation reports, and supplier debriefs
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks, maintaining transparency, probity, and fairness
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function

• A relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, law, business management, procurement, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a government procurement environment
• Strong understanding of Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) guidelines
• Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, tendering, and contract management
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills
