We’re looking for a Senior Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in identifying and attracting top-tier RnD talent to drive Shopify's growth and success.
Job Responsibility:
Develop innovative search strategies and market mapping research to identify top talent
Engage with potential candidates to build relationships and present opportunities at Shopify
Partner with Recruiters to execute on hiring mandates to build Shopify's RnD teams
Utilize various tools and platforms for sourcing and engaging with RnD talent
Mentor and support teammates to enhance their technical sourcing skills
Implement creative sourcing methods to attract diverse talent at all levels
Engage with potential candidates to assess their fit for roles within Shopify
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent sourcing and recruitment
Provide insights and recommendations to improve overall sourcing processes and candidate experiences
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs
Requirements:
Strong tech literacy and familiarity with sourcing tools, innovative recruitment platforms and digital strategies to identify, engage and attract talent
Experience integrating AI into your practice to improve both candidate quality and time to hire
Passionate about the use of great tooling and products in enhancing the TA org
High attention to detail both with people and process
Genuine curiosity about people and their careers
A highly organized approach
A builder’s mindset and a track record of owning problems and caring about how they get solved
Experience building high-trust relationships
Passion for taking a human-centered approach in everything you do
Proven experience in executive talent sourcing with a focus on building long-term relationships
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Methodical and goal-driven approach to sourcing talent
Comfort with autonomy and self-directed work, with a curiosity about people and their motivations
Proven track record of successfully sourcing and engaging talent across all levels
