Gong is looking for a Senior Solutions Marketing Manager to lead the strategic design and implementation of Gong’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy for our most critical expansion verticals. You are an expert professional who bridges the gap between complex product capabilities and industry-specific pains, positioning Gong as the Revenue AI OS for sectors like Healthcare, Financial Services, and Manufacturing. As an experienced marketer, you will bring an owner mindset to the initiatives you own, building data-backed business cases to justify GTM decisions, develop repeatable methods, and serve as a subject matter expert.
Job Responsibility:
Vertical GTM Leadership: Act as the strategic "business owner" for your assigned industries, leading the end-to-end design and execution of GTM strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and meaningful revenue growth
Industry Authority & Insight: Mine qualitative and quantitative insights - through practitioner interviews, market research, and competitive intelligence - to identify emerging sub-vertical trends and market gaps before they become mainstream
Expert Storytelling: Translate AI complexity into customer outcomes and narratives that speak the language of industry C-suites
drive thought leadership and advocacy that strengthens Gong’s market credibility
Product Strategy Influence: Partner deeply with Product Management to validate industry-specific hypotheses and inform roadmaps, ensuring our "Revenue AI OS" vision evolves to meet the unique regulatory and technical needs of your sectors
Own Sales Impact: Ensure GTM teams are fully enabled with the right messaging, plays, and materials to directly drive win rates in complex, regulated environments
Data-Driven Management: Use market and performance data to set direction, manage to KPIs, and make confident pivot-or-scale decisions
Requirements:
6+ years of experience in Product, Solutions or industry Marketing for enterprise B2B required
Experience building GTM strategies for complex industries (e.g., Healthcare, FinServ, or Manufacturing) is strongly preferred
Advanced storytelling & communication: Exceptional ability to communicate clearly to both internal and external audiences, with a portfolio of outcomes-based frameworks, sales playbooks and experience presenting to large groups or industry analysts
Strategic & Action-Oriented: A bias for action in ambiguity, leveraging data-backed insights to drive clarity and influencing without authority to secure cross-functional alignment and momentum
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
