Senior Solutions Engineer I is a key technical expert responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to support business operations and growth. This role involves analyzing business requirements in a client-facing position, developing tailored solutions, integrating systems, and ensuring the overall performance and reliability of ERP platforms. Senior Solutions Engineer I also acts as a technical advisor, providing insights on best practices and driving process improvements through the effective use of ERP solutions.

Design, develop and implement custom ERP modules and features

Develop workflows, scripts and reports to enhance ERP functionality
Analyze complex business processes and translate them into efficient ERP solutions
Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues
Conduct system testing and debugging
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client stakeholders
Lead requirements workshops and present solution designs
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Provide technical support and guidance during ERP system upgrades and migrations
Assess scope of projects and estimate development time, resources and costs
Provide accurate timelines and budgets for ERP-related projects
Contribute to project planning by identifying potential risks and dependencies
Maintain technical documentation
Ensure ERP solutions comply with security standards and regulatory requirements
Monitor emerging ERP technologies and recommend improvements
Evaluate system performance and implement changes to optimize processes
Serve as a technical mentor to junior team members
Lead by example
Assist in defining team objectives, priorities and workflows
Collaborate with leadership to establish best practices

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering or a related field
Master's degree is a plus
6+ years experience
Proficiency in ERP systems, e.g., BST11 ERP, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Deltek and NetSuite
Expertise in programming languages, e.g., Java, C#, Python and SQL
Experience with system integration tools and technologies (APIs, ETL tools, etc.)
Strong knowledge of database management systems and ERP architecture
Analytical mindset and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts clearly
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
