We are seeking a highly accomplished and technical Senior Solutions Designer - CRM for an enterprise-level contract opportunity based in Toronto. In this role, you will take on a leadership capacity within the architecture and integration streams, specializing in designing, building, and modernizing complex cloud-based customer relationship management ecosystems. As a principal solutions designer, you will evaluate existing system landscapes, map out target-state architectures, and deliver scalable enterprise designs using Salesforce features. Operating within a cross-functional environment, you will translate intricate operational requirements into robust front-end and back-end technical blueprints, ensuring seamless system integrations, top-tier security compliance, and exceptional platform performance.
Job Responsibility
Solution Architecture & Design: Analyze complex technology landscapes, identify gaps between current and target states, and deliver detailed engineering blueprints to achieve strategic business outcomes
Component Development: Design, build, and deploy custom Salesforce components, interactive user journeys, digital forms, and responsive interface pathways
Backend Platform Integration: Connect front-end cloud interfaces smoothly with backend core workflows, orchestrating secure configurations, authentication layers, and data synchronization schemas
Enterprise System Integration: Architect and maintain secure, high-throughput integration pathways between CRM environments and multiple third-party business applications using modern streaming or messaging middleware
Technical Documentation: Author and maintain rigorous technical design documentation, configuration specifications, system integration maps, and artifact deployment guidelines
Testing & Quality Engineering: Lead unit, integration, and system testing streams, managing defect tracking, issue validation, and comprehensive troubleshooting protocols
Release Management: Prepare enterprise deployment packages, oversee multi-environment release cycles, and manage post-launch platform stabilization and tracking
Governance & Accessibility Compliance: Ensure all platform designs, data models, and customer-facing components strictly adhere to enterprise security policies, privacy controls, and digital accessibility guidelines
Knowledge Optimization: Author exhaustive knowledge transfer documentation and conduct structured handover activities to prepare internal operational squads for long-term platform maintenance
Requirements
10+ years of hands-on experience working in large-scale project and/or program environments within government jurisdictions and/or large private sector organizations
5+ years of deep technical experience using Salesforce technologies, including Apex classes, Visualforce, Apex web services, APIs, AppExchange deployments, and Flows
Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in designing, coding, and deploying custom Lightning Web Components (LWC)
5+ years of practical experience implementing one or more core cloud modules, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Omni Studio, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce, or Analytics Cloud (Tableau CRM/Einstein)
5+ years of experience integrating Salesforce with multiple business systems utilizing modern messaging tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Kafka, RabbitMQ) and robust integration patterns
Experience developing and integrating native or hybrid mobile applications with core CRM databases
Must hold active Salesforce Platform Developer and/or Platform App Builder professional credentials
Well-versed in traditional and modern project frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative) using tracking toolsets, version control systems, and continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines
Clear understanding of data privacy controls, platform security models, and digital accessibility regulations (such as AODA or WCAG)
Exceptional critical thinking skills to decompose complex system integrations, formulate detailed effort estimations, and troubleshoot intricate data patterns using tools like MS Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with polished ease when explaining complex architectural trade-offs to business partners, leadership, and vendors
Highly organized self-starter capable of working with complete independence while driving consensus within cross-functional engineering teams
