As a Senior Solutions Consultant at Perk, you will be the technical backbone of our sales efforts for mid-market and growing enterprise accounts. Sitting at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Implementation, you will take ownership of complex deals, consulting directly with prospective customers to deeply understand their financial, HR, and IT landscapes.
Job Responsibility:
Lead deep-dive technical and functional discovery sessions with mid to senior level Finance, HR, and IT stakeholders
Independently translate complex, sometimes ambiguous customer needs into comprehensive requirement documents and scalable solution architectures
Build and configure sophisticated, tailored prototypes that move beyond standard demos to address specific, high-value customer workflows
Partner with our Sales Team as the technical owner on complex sales cycles
Deliver high-impact workshops and presentations that articulate the business value of Perk’s spend management platform
Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding prospects through security reviews, IT landscape assessments, and integration strategy discussions
Serve as a crucial feedback loop from the field to Product Management
Ensure seamless handover from pre-sales to Post-Sales/Implementation teams by creating detailed architectural documentation
Contribute actively to the development of internal technical playbooks
Requirements:
5-7 years of proven success in a Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solution Consulting role within the SaaS market (fintech/spend management preferred) or system integration experience in a tier-1 system integrator as a solution architect
Knowledge of the spend management industry
Prior hands-on experience in accounting, payroll, or financial operations, ideally within mid-sized or large organizations
Demonstrated understanding of and in configuring or architecting integrations with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics BC, F&O) within a sales context
A consultative mindset with a proven ability to manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously without compromising quality
Solid presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders
Fluency in English and French is required
