At Abacum, we are looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant to join our growing team and help shape the future of FP&A. In this role, you’ll be a trusted partner to our Account Executives: leading product demos, managing the technical side of the sales cycle, and showing prospects how our platform can transform planning and decision making processes. You’ll also get to work closely with finance leaders, offering strategic advice on FP&A best practices and helping them envision what is possible with the right tools.
Job Responsibility:
Demo Abacum, delivering key messages on our value prop whilst providing valuable insight and FP&A strategies based on your finance experience
Specifically: prep with AEs
deliver demos to very high standard
help with prospects’ follow-up questions
POC and Demo asset builds
Help respond to RFIs/RFPs
Regular communication with our Product team on the demands of our prospects
Requirements:
3+ years of technical sales experience, selling FP&A / EPM software
4+ years of FP&A experience, with a regular working relationship with c-suite, and looking for a change of direction into a sales role
Ideally a deep understanding of FP&A software
Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
Nice to have:
Able to influence senior stakeholders through compelling communication and a solution focussed mindset
Able to get up to speed quickly on new financial software, like Abacum
Seasoned in the FP&A space, be that through working in FP&A, finance, or through selling financial software
Able to work in ambiguous environments with limited structure / process in place
