This is a senior consultative appointment for a professional who can operate at the intersection of technical expertise and business strategy. You will hold credible conversations at the executive level, translate complex technology into clear business outcomes, and guide clients from initial discovery through to a defined solution path. Working alongside our Account Managers and Business Development Managers, you step in once opportunities are qualified to lead the technical and consultative engagement. You conduct discovery across enterprise networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed IT services, develop technology roadmaps, contribute to Statements of Work and proposals, and bring in the right specialists at the right time.
Job Responsibility
Lead technical and strategic client conversations alongside sales and business development
Conduct structured discovery and scoping sessions
Build and present tailored technology roadmaps
Develop High-Level Designs, Bills of Materials, Statements of Work, technical proposals, and RFP and RFT responses
Define Proof of Concept engagements
Build the business case for proposed solutions
Enable the sales team
Ensure a structured handover of scoped solutions to delivery teams
Feed market intelligence and client feedback back into the business
Demonstrate thought leadership
Requirements
Minimum five years of experience in a technical consulting, pre-sales, or solutions role within an MSP or ICT solutions environment
Solid working knowledge across two or more domains: enterprise networking, cybersecurity, cloud, or managed IT services
Demonstrated experience producing High-Level Designs, Bills of Materials, Statements of Work, and contributions to RFPs and RFTs
Experience scoping and managing Proof of Concept engagements
The ability to build a business case or ROI analysis
Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
Strong communication skills
Experience enabling or upskilling a sales team
