We are seeking an exceptional Senior Solutions Architect & Customer Advisor to serve as one of the most senior technical leaders in our organization. This role represents the pinnacle of customer-facing technical excellence, combining deep cloud architecture expertise with strategic consulting and solution design capabilities. You will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives at our largest and most strategic enterprise clients. Your primary focus will be technical architecture and consulting, working directly with clients to design and architect cloud solutions that solve complex business problems and drive transformation. In this role, you will orchestrate global teams to deliver world-class solutions across Hybrid Cloud, Data Center Modernization, and AI-enabled transformation. Your work will directly influence not only individual customer outcomes but also shape our broader solution portfolio, investment decisions, and go-to-market strategy. You will have direct access to our Executive Leadership Team and serve as a technical authority whose insights drive innovation across the organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Technical Discovery & Solution Design: Lead technical discovery engagements to assess current cloud maturity, identify hybrid cloud opportunities, and understand infrastructure and application modernization requirements
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of customer technology environments to identify gaps, risks, and transformation opportunities
  • Translate customer business challenges into technical requirements and cloud architecture specifications
  • Design end-to-end cloud solutions across private cloud, hybrid cloud, and data center ecosystems, including network and cybersecurity
  • Develop technical roadmaps that align cloud strategy with business objectives
  • Create proofs-of-concept, reference architectures, and migration strategies
  • Cloud Architecture & Technical Leadership: Architect and optimize hybrid cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP platforms, ensuring resilience, scalability, and operational excellence
  • Design cloud-native architectures leveraging infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation), automation, and DevOps practices
  • Provide technical leadership on data center modernization, VMware environments, and private cloud platforms
  • Advise on AI/ML integration, intelligent automation, and emerging cloud technologies
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements for regulated industries
  • Serve as technical escalation point for the most challenging architectural decisions

  • Navigate technical discussions across multiple stakeholder levels, from infrastructure teams to executive leadership
  • Solution Positioning & Technical Validation: Develop technically sound and commercially viable cloud solutions aligned to customer requirements and budgets
  • Create compelling technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and solution documentation
  • Participate in RFx responses, providing technical content and architecture sections
  • Support pursuit activities by validating technical feasibility and sizing cloud solutions appropriately
  • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure solutions are both technically excellent and deliverable
  • Lead technical presentations and workshops with customer stakeholders
  • Regulated Industry Expertise: Apply working knowledge of Banking & Financial Services OR Healthcare industry technology environments
  • Understand regulatory and compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA, HITECH) as they relate to cloud architecture
  • Design solutions that address industry-specific operational and security requirements
  • Navigate compliance constraints in cloud solution design
  • Leverage experience working with regulated industry clients to inform architecture decisions
  • Innovation & Technical Thought Leadership: Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, AI/ML capabilities, and infrastructure innovations
  • Translate emerging technology trends into practical customer applications
  • Provide input on product direction and engineering priorities based on customer needs
  • Develop technical thought leadership content including reference architectures, whitepapers, and technical articles
  • Represent the organization at technical conferences and industry events
  • Contribute to technical communities and forums
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor Solutions Architects and technical consultants in cloud architecture and customer engagement
  • Share technical knowledge and best practices across the organization
  • Create reusable architecture patterns and frameworks
  • Coach team members on technical discovery and consultative approaches
  • Foster technical excellence and continuous learning culture

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, enterprise infrastructure or solutions architecture
  • Proven track record designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions for enterprise clients
  • Deep expertise in Hybrid Cloud and Data Center architecture with focus on at least two major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with private cloud platforms (VMware, OpenStack)
  • Strong technical foundation in infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud-native development
  • Demonstrated ability to architect solutions from requirements through implementation
