Job Description:

The ServiceNow / Azure Solutions Architect SME is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing ServiceNow and Azure-based solutions that align with organizational objectives and industry best practices. This role provides technical leadership, architectural oversight, and subject matter expertise across ServiceNow and Azure environments while supporting system reliability, security, and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Design, implement, govern, and maintain ServiceNow architectural frameworks
  • Oversee deployment, administration, and maintenance of ServiceNow instances
  • Manage ServiceNow upgrades, performance optimization, and platform stability
  • Serve as a ServiceNow subject matter expert
  • Develop effort estimates and basic deployment plans for ServiceNow functionality
  • Serve as technical owner and subject matter expert for Azure cloud environment
  • Architect Azure solutions using Virtual Networks (VNETs), networking, and peering
  • Lead implementation of highly available and scalable solutions across availability zones and regions
  • Contribute to system integrations and automation using infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Advise on and oversee software testing activities
  • Analyze and evaluate security protection technologies
  • Collaborate with system architects, software architects, and product teams
  • Identify technical risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide expert-level support for complex incidents
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders
  • Serve as technical advisor during implementations
  • Act as primary technical point of contact for key customers
  • Support customer satisfaction
  • Refine, document, and validate customer requirements
  • Define and document appropriate technologies to meet requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering teams
  • Mentor architects and engineers
  • Maintain current ServiceNow and industry certifications
