Job Description:

Our client is looking to hire a Senior Solution Architect with experience in designing and supporting enterprise-scale .NET applications progressing to D365. You will have a strong understanding of application lifecycle management, support models, and technical debt management. This will be a Wellington-based 24-month hourly rate contract role with an expectation to be in office 3 days a week.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience migrating legacy .NET applications to the cloud (Azure preferred)
  • Experience re‑imagining legacy applications as cloud‑native solutions using Azure services
  • Experience modernising integrations (e.g. transitioning from BizTalk to Azure Integration Services, APIs, or event-driven patterns)
  • Understanding of how to implement solutions using Dynamics 365
  • Experience producing solution architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical standards
  • Understanding of security, identity, non‑functional requirements, and compliance in enterprise systems
  • Proven experience managing and governing delivery vendors, including setting clear architectural expectations, delivery standards, and accountability for outcomes
  • Strong skills translating business requirements into solution designs
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops, explaining technical options in plain language, and guiding decision‑making
