Senior Solution Engineer

• Lead customer technical sales engagements in collaboration with the Atlassian enterprise sales team
• Discover and assess client requirements and pain points
• Map client business and technical requirements to Atlassian capabilities
• Develop, configure and deliver compelling demos and presentations to customers and prospects
• Communicate the value and differentiation of Atlassian
• Contribute to Atlassian's thought leadership, including representing Atlassian at conferences, partner training, and contributing to the Community
• Support channel partners through various stages of the pre-sales process by providing technical expertise and thought leadership

• At least 5 years of experience interacting with Japanese enterprise customers in a pre-sales, consulting, or delivery capacity
• Experience within main solution areas: Agile & DevOps, ITSM, and Enterprise Strategic and Planning
• Experience working with customers in Japan
• Passion for learning intricate cultural details for successful business interaction
• Creative problem solver who can interpret complex problem statements and boil them down into compelling value-centric solutions
• Passion for adopting new ways of working championing improved support practices guided by modern frameworks (ITIL 4, DevOps, Scaled agile)
• Comfortable in both business and technical contexts, interacting with C-level executives or technical audiences
• Open to giving and receiving feedback
• Passionate about making clients successful
