The Senior Solution Engineer Specialist and Technical Product Owner is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. This role is responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team.
Job Responsibility:
Drive the technical vision and execution of a product
Understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications
Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects
Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems
Support system change processes from requirements through implementation
Code scripts as needed to support the business and development of requirements
Consult with business clients to understand and assess system functional specifications
Identify and communicate risks and impacts
Act as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
Appropriately assess risk, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup
Requirements:
Significant relevant experience
Extensive experience working in Waterfall and Agile Scrum projects
Scrum Certification preferred
Subject Matter expertise with JIRA and Confluence a big plus
Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
Problem Solver: Ability to solve complex issues and have a high ability to remove barriers, understanding internal and external organizational structures, dynamics and trade-off
