Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Solutions Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Program in Brampton. This role is primarily focused on the IBM Maximo Implementation and other business-critical technology solutions that align with the company long-term EAM strategy. Reporting to the Enterprise Architecture Team, you will act as the technical authority, ensuring that end-to-end solutions are secure, robust, and aligned with organizational change management goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development of complex solution architectures for the Maximo EAM platform
  • Provide expert advice based on in-depth analysis of the technical environment, enterprise-wide standards, and specific business requirements
  • Plan and create high-level design drawings, design specifications, IT solution workflows, and detailed network architecture diagrams
  • Develop functional prototypes to communicate technical concepts and visual solutions to client groups and internal stakeholders for approval
  • Act as the subject matter expert on technical integration, ensuring all changes and deviations from specifications adhere to security policies and enterprise standards
  • Facilitate large-scale technical architecture reviews
  • Monitor market trends and emerging technologies
  • Provide specialized guidance to delivery teams and contribute to the department's strategic planning process

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture
  • Proven hands-on experience with IBM Maximo implementations and integrations
  • Deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles
  • Proficiency in creating architectural artifacts, including network diagrams, data flow models, and functional prototypes
  • Experience navigating the constraints and objectives of public sector technology solutions and market trends
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities
  • Ability to translate long-term business objectives into actionable technical specifications and phased deployment plans
