Job Description:

Join our Edmonton client for a high impact contract engagement as a Senior Tester within their Major Capital projects group. This five month initial contract, starting April 1, 2026, offers the chance to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and stability of large scale systems through a hybrid work model. You will collaborate with diverse business and IT teams to deliver top tier solutions in a fast paced, professional environment that values technical excellence and precision.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with multiple business and IT teams to ensure high quality end deliverables
  • Maintain the quality and stability of systems throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Create and execute system integration and user acceptance testing scenarios
  • Manage data setup and develop detailed testing scripts for various project phases
  • Document all testing results accurately to track progress and identify issues
  • Define specific components for testing and assign relative priority to each
  • Manage multiple assignments and deliverables simultaneously to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in information technology and complex software testing
  • Proven ability to develop and execute test scripts within structured methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for both technical and business audiences
  • Experience with test management frameworks such as Zephyr or VSO and reporting testing
