Job Description:

Senior Software QA Engineer role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise working on the Hybrid Cloud platform and Green Lake next-generation cloud platform. The position involves designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs, with a focus on software testing methodology, tools, test strategy, planning, execution and automation.

Job Responsibility:

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products
Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools
Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Typically 6-10 years experience
Knowledge of complete SDLC and experience in software testing methodology, tools, developing test strategy, test planning, test execution and test automation
Strong automation background to be able to own automation strategy and tools required to enhance a test automation framework
Proficiency in programming in Python
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Knowledge of tools and processes for functional, regression, scale testing
Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use Jira, Confluence, and related software
Knowledge of Agile methodology and hands-on participation in Scrum
Ability to collaborate effectively across a geographically distributed cross-functional team
Storage Domain knowledge – Block/File/Object
Networking concepts
