Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join a team of engineers supporting the Department of Defense. The ideal candidate will manage the software integration environment, provide automation, and troubleshoot complex issues.

Job Responsibility

  • Hands-on integration of software components including firmware, embedded applications, signal processing algorithms, and hardware
  • Develop and maintain integration plans, procedures, and automation scripts
  • Collaborate with software development and systems engineering teams to define APIs
  • Configure and manage software integration environment, including build servers, VCS, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Support system testing, software builds, release configurations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software integration, DevOps, software engineering, preferably in defense, aerospace, or telecom environments
  • Programming skills in Python, C/C++, Bash
  • Experience in build automation, CI/CD pipelines and integration
  • Experience in embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and software-hardware integration
  • Eligibility for Secret or Top Secret clearance required
