Job Description:

The Connected Devices Cloud team builds and operates the cloud services that connect Axon devices — including body‑worn cameras, in‑car systems, ALPR, and other wireless peripherals — to Axon’s cloud ecosystem, enabling secure provisioning, real‑time telemetry, streaming, device management, and evidence workflows at global scale.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and scale multiple cloud engineering teams in Vietnam
  • Drive CD Cloud’s technical and organizational roadmap
  • Build and coach a strong management bench
  • Partner closely with product, QA, security, device, and app teams

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • 5+ years managing managers or multiple engineering teams delivering production services
  • Proven experience building and operating cloud‑based, high‑availability services (microservices, event‑driven systems, APIs) on a major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong technical background in at least one modern backend language or stack (e.g., Java, Go, Node.js)
  • Demonstrated track record of leading teams that ship customer‑facing cloud products or platforms at scale
  • Experience hiring, coaching, and managing out engineers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with connected devices / IoT / real‑time systems
  • Familiarity with observability tooling and SRE practices
  • Background in safety‑critical or regulated domains
  • Experience leading or closely partnering with teams in Vietnam or similar global hubs
