Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer supporting our Chief Development Office to build and enhance enterprise testing tools that simplify test evidence management, accelerate test execution, and integrate GenAI capabilities. This role supports data center migration testing gates, ensuring platform stability and customer impact prevention.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues
Provide hands on technical leadership on an Agile Delivery team
Perform work with a sense of urgency and accountability

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience
3+ years full stack software including the usage of testing frameworks
3+ years of Agile experience
1+ years utilizing tools like JIRA as well as CI/D pipelines leveraging technologies such as Jenkins, Github, Artifactory
1+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, TKGI, OCP, etc. in support of both native cloud development as well as cloud migration activities
1+ years of experience with Linux

Nice to have:

Strong Technical Leadership & Engineering solution development
Knowledge of end-to-end DevSecOps automation
Experience with the utilization of GenAI capabilities
Proven delivery of modern solutions in an agile environment
Strong interpersonal and consultative skills
Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Provide consultation on re-engineering techniques to improve process performance
Experience designing and implementing APIs, including deep understanding of REST, SOAP, HTTP
