Senior Software Engineer

• Build reusable, maintainable, reliable, and scalable automation platform using PowerShell
• Develop, deploy, and maintain the services that enable Optimizely’s SaaS and PaaS product lines
• Contribute to the architecture and design decision making process
• Pursue growth by maintaining an awareness of the state of technology, engineering techniques and best practices

• 5+ years of experience in the development of scalable, production services
• Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure Azure and .Net Technologies minimum of 2 Years
• Working knowledge of scripting using Powershell, .NET
• Proficiency in IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates)
• Experienced with GitHub Actions is an advantage
• You can breakdown complex user stories into sub-tasks of appropriate scope for efficient delivery
• You are approaching an expert level competency in core language areas
• You are actively sharing your knowledge and skills to help team members grow
• You maintain an awareness of the state of technology, tools, and techniques
• You are knowledgeable in the development and operational aspects of cloud-based software
• You require little oversight beyond high level direction
• You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
