Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead moderately complex initiatives, contribute to strategic planning, design and develop software solutions, and provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.

Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
UI development experience with React JS, Angular JS, Node, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Experience with Redux
Experience in writing ES6 Javascript code
Experience with NodeJS (specifically NPM)
Experience in using WebPack
Hands on experience with Unit Testing (Jest, Enzyme & testing-library preferred)/ TDD - Scripting & Automated Testing, Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
Good experience on User experience (UX) & design
Hands on experience developing Accessibility compliance applications
Hands on experience in packaging and deploying UI deliverables
Strong in OOAD, asynchronous programming, design and implementation of web applications, Design Patterns
Product & Design Knowledge - Experience with Product Development, Large Enterprise Scale Integrations
Experience in Digital Banking/ecommerce or any complex customer facing applications
API - driven development - Experience working with remote data via SOAP, REST and JSON
Experience with Enterprise Mobility Applications Performance Tuning, Scaling and Security Best Practices
Knowledge with backend coding and understanding of Java/J2EE code and frameworks

Nice to have:

Exposure to Splunk dashboards and App dynamics
Knowledge of Event Driven Architecture
Experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD)
Prior experience in the development of enterprise scale banking applications
