Job Description:

Citi are undertaking a multi-year initiative to upgrade their structured products front-to-back infrastructure. The IT team is a key partner to the business and is a major contributor to its success and future growth. To support the structured products business growth plan, additional funding is being invested in technology and a number of new and exciting green field projects have been initiated. In line with this initiative, the Global Equities Technology Department are currently looking to hire an experienced Developer in London (WeWork Office) to become a key member of the Global Structured Products platform team.

Job Responsibility:

Develop software iteratively, from an idea through to production
Collaborate and Lead with the rest of the team, pairing where appropriate
Build strong relationships with business users through understanding the challenges that they face, then design and build systems that will allow them to overcome them
Produce clean efficient code based on the specifications
Strive to improve and share best engineering practice across the wider technology team

Requirements:

University degree or equivalent experience in a similar role
Experience with React and Typescript (hooks and ES6 preferred)
Experience with Kotlin in a microservice-based architecture
Experience with Kubernetes/Openshift containers
Experience with Kafka as a messaging layer
Experience with DevOps techniques, real-time monitoring, and metrics
Experience with fully automated testing, continuous integration, and trunk-based development
Experience with TDD, BDD, and agile practices

Nice to have:

Experience with graphql
Experience with agile practices
