Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead moderately complex initiatives, contribute to planning strategies, design and implement technical solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project and organizational goals.

Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
contribute to large scale planning of strategies
design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience
relevant Java/J2EE Web Application Development, Spring (Core, MVC, AOP, Batch), Web Services (REST, SOAP etc.), Kafka (streaming technologies), integration technologies, Cloud Technologies (AWS/PCF), Microservices & knowledge on Oracle, MongoDB database
experience with Gen AI tools, including an in-depth exploration of various LLM models, efficient utilization techniques with knowledge in agent-based approach
strong in OOAD, Multi-threaded application development, design and implementation of web applications, Design Patterns
experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD)
experience in Consumer Banking or any complex middleware applications
API-driven development - Experience working with remote data via SOAP, REST and JSON
experience with Applications Performance Tuning, Scaling, Security, Resiliency Best Practices
hands-on experience in delivering high value projects in Agile (SCRUM) methodology using preferably JIRA tool
Unit Testing (JUnit preferred)/TDD - Scripting & Automated Testing, Continuous Integration and deployment (Jenkins)
good business communication skills in English
system Knowledge & Analysis
problem solving & critical thinking

Nice to have:

VXML, Java, and Contact Center domain knowledge etc.
Interactive Voice Response System and Routing platform knowledge
hands-on software architecture, design and development experience
experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, Web Services, Microservices, Cloud
work experience with SVN, Maven, GIT, Gradle, AppDynamics, Splunk etc.
