Job Description:

Senior Software Engineer role at Wells Fargo focusing on payment-related applications using Pega platform, requiring extensive experience in software engineering, payment industry, and various technical skills including Pega development, database systems, and agile methodology.

Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document projects
Review moderately complex technical challenges
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams
Collaborate with peers and managers
Lead projects and act as escalation point
Provide guidance to less experienced staff
Act as key participant in developing standards and best practices
Support internally and externally developed applications
Technical implementation of business solutions
Work with Product teams, IT teams, QA, Release Management, Infrastructure
Coaching and mentoring of Pega Program
Design and Development of payment-related applications on Pega platform
Evolve tooling techniques to accelerate development lifecycles
Provide subject matter expertise for production issues

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience
3+ years of Payment Industry experience
4+ years of Pega PRPC Development
CSSA certified minimum
4+ years of RDBMS/NoSQL Development
4+ years active participation in Agile methodology
3+ years of Pega Smart Investigate for Payments
2+ years of Swift Payments/Wires or other payments specific experience
2+ years' experience with Test Automation and Performance Benchmarking tooling

Nice to have:

Payment Industry experience
Pega Smart Investigate for Payments experience
Swift Payments/Wires experience
Test Automation and Performance Benchmarking experience
