Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer. The role involves implementing and maintaining digitalization solutions, troubleshooting defects, enhancing applications, contributing to DevOps automation, and ensuring that compliance requirements are met.

Job Responsibility:

Act as a team member in China to success Advisory Proposal implementation and rollout the Digitalization solution
Support and maintain current applications and implement enhancements to meet business requirements
Troubleshoot defects and come up with sustainable solutions
Contribute to development and operational process automation and continuous improvement to the team’s DevOps maturity
Promote the best technology to improve user experience and report presentation
Adopt the best design pattern in daily work
As member of L3 support team to provide L3 support for the product
Follow the delivery control guideline required by HSBC
Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met

Requirements:

Technical knowledge on Java, SprintBoot, PostgreSQL, JQuery, IBM WAS, Liberty, BIRT
Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
Domain knowledge on Financial products
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Good English communication skill

Nice to have:

Professional certifications on technical or project management domains
Experience of Private Banking and investment service is a value added
Experience with Aladdin proposal solution and business workflow
Experience in Global Private Banking IT and in Investment/Wealth Management domain would be a plus
Experience in AWS/GCP would be a plus
